Weather,
Tides and Seas As we move through sailing
times, more and more information has become available that pertains to
boating. The online information on weather, tides and seas is now
available to anyone who has a computer. As more and more laptops make
it to our boats some of the older technologies are falling by the
wayside. While at the dock the other day we saw a weather fax tossed by
the dumpster. I would not recommend disposing of this type of equipment
yet (I still have a sextant) but now we use the internet regularly to
decide if we are going out or not. We can not list all of the great
weather sites here and will not list the well known sites such as NOAA
or weather.gov, you can find them easily enough. Aw, what the
heck, they are there at the bottom of the page.
